Performance Notes:
The image is drawn in three passes, a coarse preview pass, a finer pass, and then the final individual pixel pass. At any time you can continue zooming or panning.
Drawing times for the passes will vary based on your device, zoom level (scale), the current location within the fractal and the Max Iterations value in Preferences. The black areas are actually the slowest to draw, since that is where maximum iteration of the fractal formula is reached.
